One of the reasons why the Internet has become a phenomenon is because it was able to bridge spaces in a very short period of time. From the much simpler form of mere exchange of messages from sender to receiver and vice-versa, this new technology reinvents a much better way to interact using messages. In fact, aside from reinventing email messaging, a lot of people say that this technology has the potential to go beyond the major popular applications being used today such as instant messaging, forum, blogs, wikis and even social media. They say so because it was able to give people a means to do all of the independent tasks that they do in different applications using one means. To understand Google Wave, one must see it as an all-in-one product, protocol and a platform which allows users to interact not only through messages in the form of texts, but also through documents.
